About

A family shop on Industrial Drive, tinting Boerne since 1989.

Visions Glass Tinting is family owned and operated, and it has been in Boerne long enough that a lot of the customers walking in are the second person from their family to do it. The team on the floor carries more than 100 years of combined experience between them, and every film that goes on a window here is manufactured in the USA.

Since 1989

Licensed, insured, and still on the same street.

The shop sits at 133 Industrial Drive, Suite 5, in Boerne, Texas. It is licensed and insured, and it is an authorized dealer for XPEL, SunTek, Johnson Window Films and Alta Window Fashions, which is the reason the same shop that tints a daily driver in the morning can turn around and hang cellular shades in a house that afternoon.

That range is not an accident. A shop that has been doing this since 1989 ends up seeing every kind of glass a customer owns, and the people behind the counter and in the bay are the ones who have been doing the seeing.

Who stands behind the film

Four brands, one shop that is authorized to sell and warranty all of them.

XPEL
Auto ceramic window film, PRIME XR and PRIME XR PLUS, up to 98% infrared heat rejection, and a nationwide lifetime transferable warranty on labor and materials for legal automotive film.
SunTek
Commercial and residential film, part of the lineup we point businesses toward for privacy, security and energy savings on storefront and office glass.
Johnson Window Films
Another authorized line for commercial and residential jobs, chosen by product fit rather than by habit.
Alta Window Fashions
Custom shades and coverings: cellular honeycomb shades, roller shades, wood shutters, with cordless, app controlled and motorized options.

Who you will actually talk to

Customers here tend to name names.

These are the people reviewers on Google keep crediting by name. We are not adding titles or history beyond what customers have said about them.

John

Installs and customer service

Credited by name more than anyone else in the reviews, also signed as John R. Reviewers point to him for the hard glass, a Tesla roof, a fortieth vehicle for the same repeat customer, and for walking customers through the job before he starts it.

Roxy

Front of house

The voice on the phone and the face at the counter for a lot of customers, named alongside John in more than one review for fast, friendly service.

Linda

Advisor

The advisor a local collision repair rep visits about three times a month for partial ceramic tint matches, work precise enough to sit next to the factory tint already on the car without showing a seam.

Kyle

Quality

Works behind the scenes, and the reviewer who named him credits him with keeping the shop's standard honest on every job that goes through it.
